Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2026 · These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website and services offered by RaceDrop (“RaceDrop”, “we”, “us”, “our”) at racedrop.run (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet any minimum age required in your region (typically at least 13 years old in the United States, or higher where applicable). If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of the Services

RaceDrop provides informational content about marathon registration and related topics and may offer tools such as email reminders or alerts based on information you provide. Features may change over time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Not affiliated with races or organizers

RaceDrop is an independent site. References to races, organizers, brands, or events are for informational purposes only. We are not endorsed by, sponsored by, or affiliated with any marathon, lottery operator, or race organizer unless we expressly say otherwise. Official dates, rules, and registration are determined only by the relevant organizers’ websites and communications.

4. Informational content and no reliance

Content on the Services (including dates, deadlines, and summaries) is provided for general information only and may be incomplete or outdated. You are solely responsible for verifying all information with official sources before making travel, registration, or financial decisions. We are not responsible for any loss arising from reliance on the Services.

5. Your account and submissions

If you submit an email address, race selections, or other information, you represent that the information is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any credentials you use and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@racedrop.run if you believe your information has been misused.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
  • Transmit malware, spam, or harmful code; probe or stress systems without authorization;
  • Scrape, harvest, or automate access to the Services in a way that impairs or overloads them;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, data, or accounts connected to the Services; or misuse the Services to harass, defraud, or mislead others.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Services, including text, graphics, logos, layout, and software, are owned by RaceDrop or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer the Services except as allowed by law or with our prior written consent.

8. Third-party links and services

The Services may link to third-party websites, tools, or integrations (including registration sites and analytics). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant that the Services will meet your requirements, be timely, secure, or error-free, or that email reminders will be delivered or received.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL RACEDROP, ITS AFFILIATES, OR THEIR RESPECTIVE DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless RaceDrop and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your content or submissions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Changes to the Services or Terms

We may modify the Services or these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Services for any reason, including breach of these Terms, with or without notice. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive termination.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where prohibited by applicable mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction. Subject to those laws, exclusive jurisdiction and venue for disputes arising out of these Terms or the Services will be in the state and federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

15. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and RaceDrop regarding the Services. If any provision is held invalid, the remainder remains in effect. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
